"Earlier this evening, Rihanna announced via Twitter that she’ll release her first album since 2007’s Good Girl Gone Bad. The tweet reads: 'The Wait Is Ova. Nov 23 09' While reps would not confirm details of the album, one insider tells EW.com that Nov. 23 looks to be an accurate release date, but that the album will not be titled The Wait Is Ova."
A tie-in with a comedy about couples working out their relationships on a tropical island might not seem like the obvious way to promote a music videogame, but Activision found Universal Pictures' "Couples Retreat" the perfect opportunity to strum up some buzz for "Guitar Hero 5." "WASHINGTON — The House voted Thursday to expand the definition of violent federal hate crimes to those committed because of a victim’s sexual orientation, a step that would extend new protection to lesbian, gay and trans-gender people.
"Democrats hailed the vote of 281 to 146, which brought the measure to the brink of becoming law, as the culmination of a long push to curb violent expressions of bias like the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard, a gay Wyoming college student.

"I understand the need for redemption from the 'Alien vs. Predator' movies and if adding more xenomorphs made 'Aliens' an action-charged flick, then adding more Predators can’t be a horrible idea. Recent casting news seemed sensible: Danny Trejo, Walton Goggins, Alexa Braga, Mahershalalhashbaz Ali (his nickname is 'Ali' although I can’t possibly imagine why he would need a nickname), and UFC fighter Oleg Taktarov. "Earlier this year we got news that Eddie Murphy was going to play legendary comedian Richard Pryor in a biopic directed by Bill Condon ('Chicago', 'Dreamgirls'). Almost everyone was left wondering if Murphy could really pull it off. Well, we no longer have to wonder about Murphy as he has been replaced by Marlon Wayans."
