I remember when glowsticks actually had a place on the dancefloor, wailing dance anthems built toward heart-pounding crescendos and me and my friends threw our hands in the air because house felt too good to be true. A friend of mine passed along a link to Dance Music Forever today, so I had to post a sampling of some seminal tunes that help define an era for me. Hope you enjoy -- I know I did! =)

In a letter to AintItCool.com: "Hey, everyone. It's Hugh Jackman, sending this note from freezing Vancouver. I have read a lot of your online comments regarding the footage that we are currently shooting and I share your passion for the Wolverine character and the movie - I owe it all to you guys!"
Early reviews show that the single has received positive reviews from the media. Digital Spy said that "Circus is a rampaging monster of a song whose chorus kicks off with a Max Martin-style and Timbaland thump. Pop Justice said, "Circus goes with massive thudding electronic R&B production and there's a lot of stopping and starting, including a built-in MTV-style dance breakdown segment.". Billboard said that " 'Circus' finds Spears in the more-than-capable hands of Dr. Luke (Pink, Katy Perry), who surrounds her with an electronic cyberpop landscape, while Spears spits out lines like, "There's only two types of guys out there/Ones that can hang with me and ones that are scared."
