As legions of 'Twilight' fans no doubt already know, the vampire Edward Cullen leaves behind his town—and his true love, Bella—at the beginning of 'New Moon.' That's some heavy stuff, so its no surprise that the actress who plays Bella views the second book as considerably more harsh than the first one.
Plot: A Las Vegas-set comedy centered around three groomsmen who lose their about-to-be-wed buddy during their drunken misadventures, then must retrace their steps in order to find him.
"New York Magazine's Vulture [via ThePlaylist] has nabbed the poster for Steven Soderbegh's upcoming independent film, 'The Girlfriend Experience' featuring porn star Sasha Grey in the lead role of a high-end call girl. When I said yesterday's poster for 'Drag Me To Hell' had the year's best tagline, I spoke too soon because this poster offers some serious competition with "See It With Someone You ****". I also really dig the design and I think it would be highly eye-catching provided it found its way into any theatres."
"Natalie Cole, who is suffering from kidney failure, has been getting offers from fans to give her their kidneys, the Associated Press reports. Cole, 59, the daughter of legendary singer Nat King Cole, appeared on CNN's Larry King Live on Tuesday, and said tat without a kidney she would likely be on dialysis for the remainder of her life."
"Jennifer Hudson sits inside an L.A. recording studio, her eyes hidden behind large sunglasses, her braided pigtails peeking from under a pageboy cap. Eight days from now she will kick off a national concert tour, and today is her first rehearsal with a new band. But while the musicians warm up, she doesn't say much, keeps her head down, fidgets. She's so unassuming that her backup vocalists, two glitzy gals with easy laughs, seem like the only divas in the room. And then Jennifer Hudson begins to sing, and all doubt is erased. It's not just her voice."
"After a yearlong legal battle, 'Project Runway' is cleared to move to Lifetime, where it will bow in the summer.
NBC Universal, the Weinstein Co. and Lifetime jointly announced Wednesday that they've settled the litigation that has kept the hit reality competition series in limbo since September, when a Manhattan court placed an injunction on the show."
I've been searching online for this scene for a long, long while. It's the anti-scene to so much of 'Sex & the City's' meticulously planned out fashion outings, witty rantings, posh parties, etc. It's a simple scene. No dialogue. Only a single person. But, it's so powerful. One of the few times Carrie completely lashes out. Love it.
Rare-ness: A duet between known EDM vocalists -- Nadia Ali & Rosko -- that actually works. Sassy lyrics. Thumping bassline. Tolerable pace. Kickin' mix. One of my fave cuts by Ms. Nadia, too. Enjoy!
"Jaw-dropping news hit the convention floors at this year's Showest as attendees of the Lucasfilm panel witnessed Watchmen director, Zack Snyder and George Lucas himself announce to the world that Snyder has been tapped to reboot the Star Wars franchise. Snyder is apparently writing and directing a new version of the seminal George Lucas opus, with plans to "re-imagine" Lucas's original fan-beloved trilogy, with episodes 4, 5 and 6 of the franchise."

"I caught up today with Sir Michael Caine while he was promoting his new film, "Is Anybody There" in Los Angeles and asked him if Chris Nolan had talked to him about reprising his role as Alfred in the next Batman - which is rumored to be in the works for a summer 2010 start."
EW's Jeff Jensen and Dan Snierson wax and wonder if young Ben is really dead. Hrmm... An earlier EW video guest starring the actor playing young Ben pretty mush answered this questions, but, nevertheless ...
"In one corner, the bleached blonde 'Buffy' vampire punk. In the other, the mysterious Edward Cullen of 'Twilight' fame. So what happens when vampires clash and only one can be left standing? For that, we turned to James Marsters -- who played Spike for seven years on both 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and 'Angel' and who stars as Lord Piccolo in April 10th’s 'Dragonball: Evolution.'"
Ferry Corsten dubb'd this track down with a treatment reminiscent of what 29 Palms did for LeAnn Rimes 'Life Goes On' and Ashlee Simpson's 'Pieces of Me.' A trance-endental call to be happy, the track leaves you to get lost in the rumbling rhythm while posting an after-thought of 'why can't we all be happy?' I love it. Enjoy.

"Actor and musician Andy Hallett died on Sunday night at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. He was 33 and had endured a five-year battle with congestive heart disease. Hallett was best known as Lorne, the friendly demon who reads people when they open up at the karaoke mic, on the TV series Angel. It was a role that show creator Joss Whedon wrote specifically for Hallett, after Whedon saw the entertainer performing the blues at a Los Angeles nightclub."
"HOLLYWOOD -- How do you say goodbye after 331 episodes, 34,000 hours of shooting and some 5,453 actors passing through the corridors of "ER" during the past 15 seasons?

On a journey filled with action, comedy, and cosmic peril, the new recruits must find a way to stop an evil being whose mission of vengeance threatens all of mankind."

"Detective Sherlock Holmes and his stalwart partner Watson engage in a battle of wits and brawn with a nemesis whose plot is a threat to all of England."

"'Heroes' hit it out of the park with the Bryan Fuller-scripted 'Cold Snap,' but word is Fuller’s influence is more muted for the season’s final five hours (the first of which airs tonight).
"Rating for the series continue to decline (it hit a series low last week if I remember correctly), but it’s still one of NBC’s two most popular primetime shows (the other being “The Office”), so it’s assured of a fourth season.'
